3. Handmade, Delivered & Enjoyed
Once your design is confirmed, your sofa is made to order - it takes time, but it’s worth the wait. Our delivery team will carefully place it in your home & remove all packaging.

Do I need to be home for delivery?
Yes — we’ll arrange delivery with you in advance, and you (or a trusted nominee) will need to be present so our team can place your sofa in position and ensure everything is just as expected.

Will you bring the sofa into the room of my choice?
In most cases, yes. Our delivery team will carefully bring your sofa in and position it where you’d like it, access permitting. If you’re unsure about tight hallways, stairs, or turns, tell us early and we’ll help you plan for a smooth delivery.
Do you take the packaging away?
Yes — where possible, our team will leave your space tidy and take packaging away.

How do I know if a sofa will fit in my space?
We recommend bringing measurements of your room, door ways and lift access (if applicable), as well as a few photos when visiting our showroom.
For added reassurance, booking an appointment ensures one of our technical experts is on hand to review proportions, access and layout, helping you feel confident your sofa will fit beautifully in your home.
Can I customise the sofa?
Yes. Steven Burgess sofas are designed around you — with options across shape, size, colour, and materials so the final piece feels considered and truly personal.
Do your sofas come with a guarantee?
Yes! Our traditionally constructed sofas come with a 10-year frame guarantee. Safas with reclining or electronic functions are covered by a shorter guarantee. Speak with our team to confirm the exact guarantee for your reclining or electronic model.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes — nationwide delivery is available.
